Crew members of the American B-17 Flying Fortress bomber where hit in 1944 during an operation above enemy territory,and the closest airport where they could safely land was on the island of Vis in Croatia. But because of the severe damage to the aircraft it fell in the sea near the island of Vis. Pilot Emerson and the gunner Sterling survived the crash After 60 years Emerson and Sterling return to see the what was left of the plane they where in that night.
