•The moire designates the fabric obtained by the mechanical process invented by the Lyon manufacturer Tignat in 1843. This process consists of a partial crushing of the fabric by calendering by folding the fabric on itself. The weft then deviates, and, losing its original shape, offers to the light new reflective surfaces, alternating waves and matt and shiny stripes. It also designates by extension the visual effect (moiré) similar to the one caused by this textile (changing brightness, wavy and shimmering appearance). Scum: 1. whitish foam that forms on the surface of agitated, heated or fermenting liquids. 2. impurities, slag that floats on the surface of molten metals.

The Frog is the Pond's Witness
A photoplay that depicts various social performances: conversation, labour, gossip, revelry, dinner, conspiracy - that transpire on the sidelines of an annual religious congregation inside a New Delhi public park. The observer declares the distance of their vantage point from the event of the ceremony and employs this facility to map the topographies of inclusion and exclusion that exist across the parkscape. The title of the film refers to an old Punjabi proverb: 'Khuaje da Guwah Daddu ('ਖੁਆਜੇ ਦਾ ਗੁਵਾਹ ਡੱਡੂ)', which describes the frog who claims to be - much like the filmmaker and the park - a witness of the life within the pond. The phrase is doused in lament, though, for how can a frog describe without bias a system that ultimately stands to benefit it.
Underworld: Awakening

Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley are offered positions in the Galactic Alliance, turning them down so they can stay on Earth with Lilo, but Lilo realizes her alien friends have places where they belong – and it's finally time to say "aloha".
