Shinjuku gangster Sabu and his young wife Koiko try to live a normal life, despite the interferences of gang politics and criminal deals. After she saves his life, Sabu's gang-boss, Tominaga, falls in love with Koiko, and sends Sabu into increasing dangerous situations, hoping to cause his arrest, and thus obligate himself to "take care" of Koiko while Sabu is in prison.

“If a house is like our body, where is its heart located?” asks the narrator of the film, who is also one of the residents of the house in question. As we observe her and her partner going about their daily activities, the violent history of the place is revealed in hints as it comes back to life years later.
Beautifully Maintained and Well Located
A mansion, a lawn, some trees: an unmoved frontal view, 9 minutes long. We hear an off-screen voice. It si the co-director, who commands what goes on in the image. He calls up participants while the other co-director climbs a ladder and holds up a cornet that emits smoke and sparks.
