12th edition FFE competition evening
We have selected 17 short films on the environment divided into 4 different categories: amateur, animation, fiction and documentary. These short films are in competition for the prize on each category.
FF
A flicker film made with images taken in Malawi. FF was in response to an assignment given by artists Melissa Dubbin and Aaron Davidson who created the soundtrack to which they invited artists to make a “Future Film”.
Sayen: Desert Road
Sayen follows a lead to the picturesque desolation of the Atacama Desert. There, she reluctantly teams up with a young Atacameño girl, Quimal, looking to clear her father’s name and save her town from becoming an arid wasteland due to Acteon’s exploitative water usage.
Man
A worn-out, aging shearer who once rained king of the high country, gets on the gear to keep up his numbers. But when the drugs take over he must learn what it really means to be a man, before he loses so much more than his country pride -- MAN.
