Stalked by his deadly uncle (Michael Myers) across America, John Tate en route to New York gets lost in New Jersey and ends up stopping in Crystal Lake to ask for directions. He runs into Tommy Jarvis who is on the run from Jason Voorhees. They both hide out in Tommy's cabin, only to be found by both maniacs at the same time.
