UFC 295: Prochazka vs. Pereira

UFC 295: Procházka vs. Pereira was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on November 11, 2023, at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. A UFC Heavyweight Championship bout between current champion Jon Jones and former two-time champion Stipe Miocic was expected to headline the event. However on October 25, it was announced that the bout was scrapped after Jones sustained a pectoral muscle injury that will require surgery. As a result, the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout for the vacant title between former champion Jiří Procházka and former UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira served as the main event.

Life of a Mutt

Through seven scenes, the film follows the life and destinies of stray dogs from the margins of our society, leading us to reconsider our attitude towards them. Hello explores changes in two people’s working lives: a Mexican trash picker who separates and collects recyclable materials from landfills to sell by the kilo, and a German freelance computer-animation designer working for the advertising industry in Berlin. The double interview is controlled and manipulated by a computer-generated severed hand which Maria describes as an object once discovered in the trash while working in the violent northern town of Mexicali. This CGI hand was in turn produced by Max, who was born with no arms, and sought refuge in computer-imaging as a means to operate and manipulate a digital reality.
