Burdened by debt after a long dry spell, actor Marius de Villeduc finds himself forced to accept the lead role in the new film by Richard Favard, a promising actor-director whom he knows nothing about. However, in order to receive his full fee, he must agree to one condition: participate in the preview tour! Alongside Richard, Colette, and Lulu, Marius reluctantly sets off on a chaotic and colorful road trip across France.

To mark his recent appointment, the new Pope prepares for a tour of Latin America, only to find that the Vatican is bankrupt. A rich Mexican woman offers to help out. In return for financing his trip, she demands he attends an event in his honour in the city of Ciudad Juarez – Mexico’s capital of crime. The “guardian angel” turns out to be a drug trafficker, and when she discovers that a lookalike Pope has been sent in his place, confusion, laughter and unexpected chaos ensue.

Between past, present and future, the young man recalls his relationship with his brutal and secretive father, who left him a passion for boxing. Ten years later, now an engineer, Qiao develops an AI boxer to help people learn boxing. Training with the AI day by day, Qiao begins to see a ghost.
