•This sensual drama delicately depicts the shifting emotions of a female teacher struggling with a barren love affair. Director Imaoka Shinji, who is still very active, poetically depicts the struggles of a teacher through her flirtatious boyfriend and eccentric male students. High school teacher Noriko (Takano Marie) is in a relationship with Koichi (Yoshioka Mutsuo), a younger man, but she distrusts him because he plays carelessly with a customer at her part-time job. One day, Koichi has a fight with Noriko, and when he visits his favorite restaurant with Takako (Aya Yonekura), whom he met by chance, he runs into Noriko drinking with her colleagues.

A male lion, right next to bars that are about 6 or 8 inches apart, keenly watches a uniformed zoo attendant toss small morsels of food into the cage. The lion alternates between finding the food on the cage floor and reaching through the bars to swipe at the man, who stays alarmingly close to the beast. In the background are the large rocks and brick wall at the back of the lion's habitat.
