•A holiday camp in Masuria is running a program called "If We Find Each Other." Its aim is to conduct a pedagogical experiment in which children from orphanages choose their own adoptive parents. Some of the children are passive, while others try to "study" the adults in their own way. Maciek, a young psychologist, notices Kasia, a girl on a gluten-free diet, whose illness has long prevented her from finding parents. Basia, Maciek's wife, accepts his choice. When Kasia learns from her friends that she will return to the orphanage after the holidays, she runs away from the center. Basia notices her and convinces the girl to return. After Basia and Maciek visit Professor Kowalewska, Kasia realizes that she finally has parents.

One woman came to the neighbourhood a decade ago to work in Berlin’s still unfinished Brandenburger Airport, one man reminisces his childhood on a Tobacco farm in Kentucky, another speaks of an exceptional day in an otherwise monotonous workplace. These portraits are interwoven with the story of Elpi, a Greek woman who is waiting for the long overdue visit of an old important friend. The outcome of this mixture is a film which captures the lives and perspectives of some of Wrangelkiez’s most commanding citizens, while at the same time evoking the loss that change and time passing means for places and for people.
