Masquerade

For the first time I am animating hand-painted engraved cut-outs on a full-color background. The film is mood-filled: A duel scene in a snowy forest, obviously the morning after a masquerade ball. Harlequin lies dying, while Red Indian walks away with the wings of victory. The woman between them appears, cat-masked. The mask dissolves away. Her spirit passes into the face of the sun upon the sun upon the sun flower. But Harlequin cannot escape death. The blue world engulfs him.

UFC Fight Night 41: Munoz vs. Mousasi was a mixed martial arts event held on May 31, 2014, at O2 World in Berlin, Germany. The card was headlined by a middleweight bout between Gegard Mousasi and Mark Muñoz. This event was the first of two that took place on May 31, 2014, with The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale: Miocic vs. Maldonado being the other making it only the second time in UFC history that they have hosted two events in one day.

The late 1930s. A young enemployed, unskilled worker walks through the streets of Copenhagen, sustaining himself partly on the dole and free soup-kitchen meals and partly on day-dreams. He spends time at a cemetry studying headstone inscriptions. Mild-mannered and of poetic bent, he understands little of an intellectual friend's advice and shies away from the love of a woman who shares her bed with him.
