Scrappy and Oopie, though little boys, happily celebrate the return of beer after fourteen years, with the help of brew-guzzling gnomes, apparently from the "Rip Van Winkle" story. They leave an allegorical "Prohibition" figure (ugly old man in stovepipe hat) stripped and chased off.

Krazy sends off for mail-order music lessons; he gets back a saxophone and an instruction book (we actually follow the mail going both ways) . His first attempts are so bad the saxophone tears up his diploma. He pours honey into the sax, and it improves, barely. Using his new talent, Krazy is rejected in turn by his goldfish, a street band, all the houses in a neighborhood (even the outhouse leaves, holding its nose), a saloon, and finally a woman drawing water from a well.
Esprit D'Amour
Joe Chan (Julian Cheung), an Pay-TV office manager, mourns the death of wife-to-be Winnie Tsang (Loletta Lee), while a spirit causes trouble for a pair of wrongdoers set on taking over the station. A not-so-literate taxi driver Shing Wai-lin (Simon Loui) visits a tarot reader after his girlfriend leaves him. The mystic warns him that he is set to meet a strange woman and he'll be in certain danger. In a dingy flat, housing nurse Mindy (Fennie Yuen) treats triad member Ton's (David Wong) latest wounds. Her Aunt Ha (Helen Law Lan), meanwhile, senses a dark force drawn to the flat's dark hallway.

The movie begins with a glimpse in the life of Unni and his friends, where they enjoy their serene village life. The locale boasts of open paddy fields, coconut plantations, sacred groves and takes the viewer to the good old bygone era where things were still simpler. Unni is the apple of his mother's eyes (played by Devi Ajith). After having a great summer vacation, Unni and his friends move to the 6th grade after the new academic year begins. Unni loves his school life mainly because of his crush Riya (played onscreen by Meenakshi). Unni feels threatened by the newcomer in his class - Roney (played by new comer Master Naaif), who happens to be talented in various disciplines of art. Soon they lock horns and are in competition.
