Woh Tera Naam Tha

Orphaned at a very young age, Badruddin was taken in by the kind-hearted Ustad Samad Khan, a once popular singer in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. During one of his shows, Samad found his audience distracted, and taking this as an insult to his art, gave up singing altogether. Badru is attracted to Samad's pretty daughter, Reshma, who also likes him. Badru has another admirer in the beautiful Naseem, but does not reciprocate her love. When Akhtar, a free lance photographer from Delhi, arrives there, Reshma and he instantly fall in love with each other, leaving behind a heartbroken Badru. When Akhtar proposes marriage, Samad angrily rejects him, as he wants Reshma to marry Nawab Hyder Ali's son, Basharat.

The 42nd Street Special

As part of a publicity campaign for the film 42nd Street (1933), Warner Bros. Pictures, with the assistance of the General Electric Corporation, assembled a 7-car gold- and silver-plated train they called "The 42nd. Street Special". With numerous Warner Bros. contract stars as passengers, the train made a tour across the USA. It was scheduled to make stops in more than 100 cities, ending in Washington, D.C. for the March 1933 inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt. This short film records the send-off for this trip from Los Angeles' Santa Fe Station. Using a microphone set up on the rear platform of the last car, several people addressed the crowd attending the event. Those making remarks include performers, studio executives, and the mayor of Los Angeles.

Just then, the bell rings and the woman next door, Do-hee, brings him some homemade bread. He's not interested in this woman who recognizes him, but he can't help but be bothered by her strange actions. When she leaves, Seong-won watches the video and is surprised to see Do-hee on there, being whipped. Do-hee keeps coming back to the house to seduce Seong-won even when Yeon-seo is around...
