Maya is the spoiled child of a rich man. Along with her friends she decides to make fun of Dr. Srinivas. The doctor in turn insults her by saying that she is a fatherless child. Maya discovers that her father has adopted her when she was a baby and that her biological mother is the famous singer K. S Vasundhara Devi. She tries everything to make her mother accept her.

The story is about Thilakan and his two adopted sons, one of them blind, Unni (Sreenivasan), and the other one deaf, Balan (Mukesh).
