The Cruise

A stowaway sneaks aboard a ship departing on a cruise down the Vistula River. The captain takes him for a Communist Party cultural coordinator and the intruder gladly adapts to his new role, immediately setting to work at manipulating the passengers and crew into silly and vaguely humiliating games. Before long, Tym has got everyone under his thumb and created his own comedic dictatorship.

Topsy Turvy, or Egg Nogg 2
Kasia and Pawel, having got married, live in the village of Brzozki, 10 kilometres from Grabow. Kasia wants to return to her pedagogical studies, so she does not want to have children yet. Pawel announces that he wants to break away from the traditional village farm and focus on specialised sheep breeding, which causes a family argument. Kasia's parents anxiously await the birth of their grandchildren. Things get even more complicated when the Wolanskis arrive in Grabow. They offer to help Kasia go back to university, but in return Kasia has to look after little Piotr as the docent is leaving for London where he has received a month-long study grant.

It's Okay to Panic
"It's Okay to Panic" is a nostalgic portrait of Professor Szymon Malinowski, a 62-year-old atmospheric physicist at the University of Warsaw who worries that climate change may cause human civilisation to collapse in the coming decades. A career educator, Prof. Malinowski studies phenomena leading to climate changes and for years he has been raising the alarm about the threats we face. The film visits him at a moment when he must deal with a personal tragedy which prompts him to evaluate the way his country has changed during his lifetime, for better and for worse.
