Video installation, 2005, at LOKAAL_01 Breda 2007, Burning Marl, curator Frederik Vergaert in Seppenshuis Zoersel, 2005. A woman walking through 3 video images. Three screens display how the day’s light passes by: from the early morning light until late at night. Along with the woman the artist walks through the forest, in the same rhythm, the same pace. Off-screen she looks through the camera, fragmenting time. The age-old androgynous trees are a vertical constant along which the woman moves, as if in an interval between visibility and invisibility, between sound and silence, while the light keeps on evolving metabletically.
A Little Fact
A jigsaw film assembled from archival footage from the 20s and 30s, preserving memories of the construction of a new and everyday life - the launch of the metro, hard work, cultural life and leisure. By combining two parallel stories - state film chronicles and diary entries - the film attempts to revise the historical archive and the usual perception of the time, bringing to the forefront the collective image of a hero from the crowd.

What We Find on the Road
On TJ's 18th birthday, a stranger delivers him a key from his father, last seen as he was hauled off to prison eight years earlier. With the key is an address for a proposed meeting – 3000 miles away and in two weeks. The key unlocks a timeworn 1968 convertible, with a coffin welded to its floor. With each decision that follows, TJ plunges deeper into the mysterious and beautiful landscapes we all navigate – on our own, with our tribe, through the shifting turns of the road ahead.

The paths of two solitary figures cross when a Young Woman (Charlotte Reidie) arrives to aid a sickly Old Woman (Melanie Revill). After a hostile first encounter and despite misgivings from both, the two slowly open up to one another. But their affinity is short lived when events culminate as unforgiving words are spoken and buried memories resurface. The Old Woman struggles to accept the absence of the Young Woman and is haunted by her memory. A series of truths manifest themselves as the pair learn that they are much more alike than they think.

But then the unsuspecting Jeanette learns the truth. She feels betrayed and is deeply hurt. Now Rudolf Siebert has to convince them that he started the game with the best of intentions and that he wants to bring it to a happy end with their help. Will she believe him?
