One Track Mind
Philip Coppola has devoted all his free time in the last thirty years to cataloging, archiving and sketching every single station in the New York City subway system. Shot almost entirely in the subway system in post-9/11 New York, this award-winning short documentary is a portrait of a man consumed by a singular obsession as well as a loving exploration of the city's unique artistic idiosyncrasies.
Samurai II: Duel at Ichijoji Temple
After years on the road establishing his reputation as Japan's greatest fencer, Takezo returns to Kyoto. Otsu waits for him, yet he has come not for her but to challenge the leader of the region's finest school of fencing. To prove his valor and skill, he walks deliberately into ambushes set up by the school's followers. While Otsu waits, Akemi also seeks him, expressing her desires directly. Meanwhile, Takezo is observed by Sasaki Kojiro, a brilliant young fighter, confident he can dethrone Takezo. After leaving Kyoto in triumph, Takezo declares his love for Otsu, but in a way that dishonors her and shames him. Once again, he leaves alone.

Fadma is an active Moroccan woman, a mother who, after the death of her husband, raised her two children alone: Ahmed is her pride and joy, having succeeded in France, and Karim is the eccentric artist who still lives with her. Sensing danger around her son Ahmed, she decides to visit him in France. And it's here that she discovers the problem of her granddaughter Julie-Aïcha, a teenager in search of her identity. Fadma and Julie-Aïcha discover a new shared passion.
Maine-Ocean Express
"Maine-Ocean" is the name of a train that rides from Paris to Saint-Nazaire (near the ocean). In that train, Dejanira, a Brazilian, has a brush with the two ticket inspectors. Mimi, another traveler and also a lawyer, helps her. The four of them will meet together later and live a few shifted adventures with a strange-speaking sailor (Mimi's client).
