In August 2008, filmmaker Brian Fender posted an add on Craigslist to solicit volunteers for a documentary project. In order to repay Zong Xiangruo, the fox girl led Zong Xiangruo to find the Third Lady of Lotus, whom he had been dreaming about, and facilitated a beautiful marriage.
