Lasse Rimmer unleashes his "hobbyhorses" in a new one-man show. Lasse Rimmer has a whole stable full of hobbyhorses in his head. Topics he is passionate about. And it's time for those hobbyhorses to be aired and given an enthusiastic ride around the comedy arena. This happens in his fourth solo show, "Hobbyhorses." Can we Danes have fun without food in our mouths? Are you a bad parent if you're not generally super impressed by children? How long should a veterinarian go to prison if she sticks her whole arm up a cow... and the cow enjoys it? All the questions you've never asked are answered in "Kæpheste," plus some of the ones you actually do ask. The comic spotlight is turned on the audience when Rimmer's playful interest in Denmark and the Danes teasingly pokes fun at the audience.

Look forward to a fantastic show, where this year's hosts, Carsten Bang and Jesper Juhl, together with a string of the country's comedians, will mark 25 years with a historic anniversary show on December 27 at Musikhuset Aarhus, December 29 at Royal Arena, and January 8, 2018, at The Comedy Store in London. The film is a continuous time-lapse with multiple exposures of the sunset from the same angle and position on 16mm film. The shoot was done in a span of 5 years. The title 13 is because the time-lapse has a 13-second interval per frame.

Skin of a Mandarin
The film delicately follows 25-year-old Anna, whose mother has died suddenly. She wants to send her Orthodox mother on her last journey according to customs, but she runs into bureaucratic rules that do not allow Anna to dress her departed mother herself. This conflict brings her together with Maria, a 45-year-old funeral home worker, who in this story represents the hidden fears of death and grief on a deep emotional level.
