The film tells the story of Suna's research into the origins of the Anatolian folk song Cemalım. According to Suna's research, Cemal, a member of the upper class and a wealthy family from the village of Karlık in Ürgüp, is treacherously murdered. No one can help but be saddened by the tragic end of Cemal, who was beloved by everyone. His orphaned son Mustafa also loses his life a few years later when he is kicked by a horse during harvest time… What follows is an even greater tragedy…
