Jia Ying, a sales manager of real estate, is mean and indifferent, still remains single. She has never expected something like this would have happened to her. After her customers were gone, Jia found that she has left her personal phone at the model room. As she just stepped into the elevator, a horrid thundering comes, and the next thing she knew, she was waked from the dark, trapped among the destroyed elevator, and all she got was a cracked work phone, a lighter and a handbag. Jia managed to recover the phone and called for help, while the signal was fitful, and she cannot even remember her bes-tie or relative's number. The destroyed elevator fell again, iron stabbed into her thigh and caused badly bleeding. Jia kept trying on dialing, without the expectation to find a hidden conspiracy, as well as a bloody monster lurked deep in the dark.

Idle Running
Dizzy is a perennial student living in a small double room in a hostel. He never seems to study, but spends his time sleeping, watching TV, and drinking. Directed by Varsha Panikar, the film takes inspiration from vintage-home-movie culture to create a contemplative and nostalgic vignette of an artist’s spiritual journey out of the darkness and into the light.

Then, no longer in costume, he talks with the camerawoman who is filming him, he writes a date and an hour (May 1, 1985, 10 a.m.) on a blackboard and then bursts out in rage at the fact that his girlfriend, Hiromi, has been missing for three days. A few moments of their love story are retraced, before returning to the gloomy desperation of the young man, who walks into the darkness of a night illuminated by neon signs and goes into a long monologue of love, directed at the girl.
