The film tells the struggle of two young lovers trying to reunite with each other. Nazlı's father Asım asks for bride price for his daughter. Ferdi spent the bride price he had saved, for his brother Kemal's surgery. In order to save money again, he travels to Germany to find work. Nazli is pregnant with Ferdi's child. Sait, the son of the village's landlord, has set his eyes on Nazli. In order to have Nazli, Sait spreads the rumor that the child is from Kemal. Nazli, Kemal and her mother are forced into exile by the villagers. As if these pains were not enough, the news of Ferdi's death comes. The reunion of these two lovers is now a miracle.

Paris, France. Commissaire Wens is put in charge of the investigation into the murder of one of six friends who, in the past, made a very profitable promise.

People
People is a film shot behind closed doors in a workshop/house on the outskirts of Paris and features a dozen characters. It is based on an interweaving of scenes of moaning and sex. The house is the characters' common space, but the question of ownership is distended, they don't all inhabit it in the same way. As the sequences progress, we don't find the same characters but the same interdependent relationships. Through the alternation between lament and sexuality, physical and verbal communication are put on the same level. The film then deconstructs, through its repetitive structure, our relational myths.
