The film tells the love story of a prince and a poor girl. After Cinderella's mother dies, her father remarries a widow with two daughters. Shortly after the wedding, her father also passes away. Cinderella continues to live with her stepmother and stepsisters. However, they treat Cinderella badly, making her do all the housework. One day, town criers announce throughout the kingdom that the prince will hold a ball to marry the woman he saw in his dream. Therefore, all the young women in the kingdom are invited to the ball. Cinderella prepares for the ball like her stepsisters. However, on the last night, her stepmother refuses to take her to the ball. Cinderella will try to go to the ball with the help of her friends.

Their children, Suat and Pervin, who were born on the same day, are married through an arranged marriage. Years later, the families meet in Istanbul to formalize Suat and Pervin's marriage. Suat is a womanizer who has lived in Europe for many years. Hearing about Suat's notorious womanizing, Pervin plays a trick on him. She introduces herself as Gülizar, a singer. Suat falls in love with Gülizar and looks for ways to escape from his betrothed, Pervin. However, Atıf Bey tells Suat that if he does not marry Pervin, they will kill Gülizar. Suat, who wants to save Gülizar's life, reluctantly agrees to marry Pervin. Suat, who sits at the wedding table with great sorrow, will be the happiest man in the world when he stands up from the table.
