PITY PARTY follows twenty-nine-year-old Liza, as she begins to experience an emotional breakdown. She has the perfect guy, the perfect home, the perfect body, and - friends. Liza's life is #blessed. Regan and Kennedy, Liza's childhood frenemies, annoyed by her incessant whining convince Liza that she should throw a "positivity party" for New Years. Out with the old, and in with the new. Besides, the mysterious virus breakout is only happening in China. What have they got to worry about?

Melinda and Melinda
While dining out with friends, Sy suggests the difficulty of separating comedy from tragedy. To illustrate his point, he tells his guests two parallel stories about Melinda ; both versions have the same basic elements, but one take on her state of affairs leans toward levity, while the other is full of anguish. As alien invaders plot to conquer the Earth, two Boy Scouts steal a mini-submarine and discover Gamera in their midst. Transported to the alien's spaceship, the Scouts are menaced by the evil inhabitants, including Viras, a squid-like monster that grows to colossal size to battle Gamera.

Cassandre, 26, is a flight attendant for a low-cost airline. Based in Lanzarote, she’s always willing to take on extra hours and carries out her duties with robotic efficiency. On the side, she just goes with the flow and floats between Tinder, parties and lazy days. When she suddenly gets dismissed, she is forced to return home.
