WWE Money in the Bank 2019
Money in the Bank (2019) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network event, produced by WWE for their Raw, SmackDown, and 205 Live brands. It took place on May 19, 2019, at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. It was the tenth event under the Money in the Bank chronology. Twelve matches were contested at the event including one on the pre-show. In the main event, Brock Lesnar inserted himself in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match to win it. Bayley won the women's Money in the Bank match and later cashed in the contract to win the SmackDown Women's Championship from Charlotte Flair, who herself had just won the title from Becky Lynch. In her other match Lynch retained her Raw Women's Championship against Lacey Evans. In other prominent matches, Kofi Kingston defeated Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Championship while Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles to retain the Universal Championship.
WWE Evolution
It will be the first pay-per-view in WWE history to be comprised entirely of women's matches. All of WWE's women's championships will be defended at the event. It will also feature the finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament
AEW Fight for the Fallen
Fight for the Fallen was a professional wrestling event promoted by All Elite Wrestling. It was the third event promoted under the AEW banner. The show took place on July 13, 2019, at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida, and proceeds from the event benefited Jacksonville’s Victim Assistance Advisory Council (VAAC).
King Kong vs. Godzilla
The advertising director of Pacific Pharmaceuticals, frustrated with the low ratings of their sponsored TV program, seeks a more sensationalist approach. He orders his staff to Faro Island to capture King Kong for exploitation. As Godzilla re-emerges, a media frenzy generates with Pacific looking to capitalize off of the ultimate battle.
