Sarkis decide to return to Beyoğlu, where he was brought up, but was forced to leave because of the unfortunate tragic incidents that took place on the 6-7th September 1955 in Istanbul. Sarkis has lived on his nostalgia ever since he left. But after sixty years neither Istanbul nor Sarkis are as they were. This short film is about the effects of expatriation and immigration reflected within the inner world of a man.

Akam
