Nocturno: Ghosts of the Sea in Port
The Spanish vessel ‘Ilha Brava’ arrives from the deep seas of the south Atlantic. 55 days at sea are interrupted by only five days docked in the port of Montevideo. The city exists as a hologram for the sailors, standing like a shadow behind the vessel that gives shelter. Letting the world know what was happening to was a priority, but they were driven by the need to let their families and friends know they were all still alive.
