Director Karim Moussaoui wonders what would come close to be called Opera in his home country, Algeria. Together with his crew, he travels to the desert where he was told some women sung the Taguerabt (chant of the Gourara) in caves.

Lion, London Zoological Gardens
A male lion, right next to bars that are about 6 or 8 inches apart, keenly watches a uniformed zoo attendant toss small morsels of food into the cage. The lion alternates between finding the food on the cage floor and reaching through the bars to swipe at the man, who stays alarmingly close to the beast. In the background are the large rocks and brick wall at the back of the lion's habitat.

It is the story of a city, of which the world have heard a lot, but never really got closer than news, never really had the chance to experience how a war erupted. a modern times epic of youth in war time.
