Flying Saucer Rock 'n' Roll, is a 12 minute spoof of a 1950s black and white science fiction B-movie. It was first released in 1997 and starred Ardal O'Hanlon. It was written by Mik Duffy and its director Enda Hughes. The title is taken from the 1957 Rockabilly novelty hit record "Flyin' Saucers Rock 'n' Roll" by Billy Lee Riley and His Little Green Men. O'Hanlan's "rendition" of the song, is performed by producer Michael Hughes.

The Dog Pound

David, has just failed his university examinations and has one year to re-write them. Ruben, his father, a pragmatic and successful businessman, has been paying for David's education, the pursuit of which he considers a waste of time. Ruben wants David to work and make himself useful and he strikes a deal with him: David can stay and study for his exams at Ruben's house in La Perrera, a coastal resort town, while he builds a house for himself. And so, a year-long adventure starts for David, an urban intellectual, in the isolated La Perrera and among its off-season residents who include nearly as many dogs as men, where the only women are either pregnant or prostitutes, and where no one wants to work and things are done out of friendship more than anything else.

Dr. Helen Caldicott is the most prominent anti-nuclear activist in the world. She's been featured on CNN, 60 Minutes, CBC and Democracy Now. In the 80s, Helen Caldicott campaigned against nuclear weapons testing in the pacific (still responsible today for the majority of tritium we're exposed to), and against the notion of a winnable nuclear war. She was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts. She has always made inaccurate statements regarding civilian nuclear power. Alzheimer's is a documentary about a disease that affects more and more people. The disease can't be taken lightly. Sadly, Alzheimer's and other dementia affect nearly every family in some way. The most renowned doctors and researchers tell us what they know about the condition so far. The film is also trying to help those who have little or no knowledge of the disease and don't know where to find support. We wanted to show how vulnerable human life can be. Memories, intellect, and personality-all can be lost due to this cruel disease. We don't really understand what happens inside the person or how this disease develops. What we see is the personality disintegrating, and the person becoming 'someone else'. Positive examples are also shown in the film- well-functioning care settings in France and Hungary and loving families caring for their loved ones.
