Jagath Kantrilu is a secret research black and white Telugu film released on April 3, 1971. Produced by P. A. Kamreswara Rao under the banner of Phalguna Productions, P. Lakshmi Deepak directs the film. Starring Sobhan Babu and Vanisri in the lead roles, the film has music by S. P. Kodandapani. Moondrejuthu (1968), a Tamil film starring Jayalalitha and Ravichandran, was translated into Telugu as Jagath Kantrilu and released.
