Cinderella
The film tells the love story of a prince and a poor girl. After Cinderella's mother dies, her father remarries a widow with two daughters. Shortly after the wedding, her father also passes away. Cinderella continues to live with her stepmother and stepsisters. However, they treat Cinderella badly, making her do all the housework. Ruth Butler, a clerk in an emporium, marries Jimmy Rutledge and thereby greatly displeases his mother, the owner of the emporium, because of Ruth's lowly origins.
