In 2005, legendary pianist Daniel Barenboim performed the complete Beethoven piano sonatas over 8 concerts in 2 weeks at the Staatsoper in Berlin. These definitive performances were lavishly filmed and beautifully produced, and are now presented here in a.32 sonatas recorded during a series of eight concerts which took place in the summer of 2005 at the Berlin State Opera House. The last remaining production of Le Prince's LPCC Type-16 (16-lens camera) is part of a gelatine film shot in 32 images/second, and pictures a man walking around a corner. Le Prince, who was in Leeds (UK) at that time, sent these images to his wife in New York City in a letter dated 18 August 1887.
