Eliú, a country boy, is incarcerated́ in an experimental minors' centre in the heart of the Colombian tropical forest, for a crime he committed with his friend El Mono. Every day, the teenagers perform strenuous manual labour and intense group therapy. One day, El Mono is transferred to the same centre and brings with him a past that Eliú is trying to get away from.

Esteban, a writer of mistery novels, must finish his new work, so, looking for inspiration moves to an isolated cabin in the woods with his wife, Cristina, and his male secretary, Federico. Secretly, Federico had been renting the cabin to a mysterious woman who is urged by him to leave the house before Esteban and Cristina arrive. While leaving, the woman decides to keep one awkward thing inside the house.

This reel consists of three short films, two in black and white and one in color, that treat of a water wheel on the Sorgue. The essence of the work rests on a series of cross-references that are set up between the operational mechanisms of the filmed object and the recorded characteristics foregrounded by the choice of film stocks and filming circumstances.
